Did you know that your iPhone and iPad can automatically recognise music for you with just a tap of a button? This feature was added in the recent iOS 14.2 update and gives you a really easy way to find out what music is playing either on your device or on the TV/radio.
The first step is go to into Settings on your device and then scroll down and tap on Control Centre.

Once you're in the Control Centre settings, scroll down to the More Controls section and tap the + next to Music Recognition.

Now, whenever you want to identify some music, whether you're playing music on your device or can hear music on the TV, on the radio or playing over speakers, you just need to swipe down from the top right of your Home Screen to get to the Control Centre and tap on the Music Recognition icon (if you have an iPhone with a home button, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get to the Control Centre).

After a few seconds, you'll see a notification on your phone telling you what is playing.

If you tap on the notification, it will open the Shazam app and show you more info about the track along with info on where you can stream and buy the track.
