Apple have just announced that the upcoming iPadOS 16, which was expected in September along with iOS 16 has been delayed while they continue to work out some of the bugs and other issues.
In this tip, we'll have a quick run through of some of the biggest changes coming in iPadOS 16 later this year.
One of the biggest changes is Stage Manager which lets you easily switch between the different apps running on your iPad,
especially useful when you're using a keyboard and mouse, this lets you easily and quickly hop between apps and even have overlapping windows on your iPad screen.
Here you can see Safari as the main active window, with The App Store, Weather, System Preferences and Apollo all waiting on the left hand side, one tap or click is then all it takes to bring that app to the front.

iPadOS 16 also brings the Weather app to the iPad for the first time so you'll be able to check the weather in various locations and receive weather alerts directly on your iPad without having to check your phone.

Full support for external screens is also coming to the iPad, allowing you to run different apps on your iPad screen and your external screen as well as allowing you to drag and dropping files and apps between the different screens.

The built in Mail app will now let you un-send and schedule emails and the Messages app also now lets you edit and un-send messages for a time after you've sent them.
There are lots more changes coming in iPadOS 16 which should make you more productive than ever when using your iPad, you can see all the
upcoming changes on Apple's website here.
