If you use your Apple Watch to track your workout at the gym or other activities where you want to listen to music but not have your phone with you, you can load a playlist onto the watch and listen to that directly using bluetooth headphones and we'll show you how to do that in this tip.

Firstly, open the Watch app on your iPhone.

Now scroll down and tap on the Music section.

Now tap on Synced Music and choose a playlist from your iPhone. Please note that the music only syncs over to the watch when it's charging so you need to do this before you go out without your phone. You can also choose how much space on the watch is used for storing music.

Now on the watch, tap on the Music icon.

Now in the Music app, scroll up and you'll see the choice of playing music from the iPhone or the watch, tap on the watch and then tap on My Music.

The watch will now try to pair to your bluetooth headphones. If you haven't used your headphones with the watch before you'll be asked to pair them in Bluetooth settings on the watch.

Once your headphones are connected, you'll be shown the music that's available to play directly from your watch.

Simply tap on the song you'd like to play and your music will start.

Once your music is playing, you can access the options to shuffle, repeat etc by pressing on the screen until you see the options appear.
